...a week in kiev is just about enough to discover this big city that can easily compete with Europe`s largest places. Modern shops next to restored apartment buildings that look like you are walking through the streets of the likes of Paris or Budapest....Kiev is: busy, rich, beautiful, modern, old, poor, loud and amazing...

..these images come from my recent documentary work dealing with German survivors of World War Two. It has been made into a book and features a variety of people currently living in a town located in northern Germany. The pain and troubles they experienced between 1939-1945 certainly cannot be compared to problems in our current day and age. We can only but ponder about the stories these survivors have to tell.

Enchanted escape-degree collection by Siobhan Callaghan.

Hooking up with fab embroidery and fashion designer Siobhan Callaghan, we shot some pics in the botanical gardens Dublin to showcase her degree collection. Model Eve Grant enchanted the garden visitors and so the degree collection fit perfectly into the surroundings....yussss!

..working with the talented embroidery and design student siobhan callaghan we created a shoot around her daydream romance clothes collection she has been working on at ncad, dublin.shot in the studio we kept it to high key lighting and a simple backdrop to not distract from the busy dresses and pieces. great model, great fun, great shoot!!!

....tried my hand at shooting some beauty images in the studio...working with sinead bailey kelly who did a fabulous job with the make up, we created various looks from coming close to united colors of benetton to powder shots which left the studio in mayhem...dublin is getting nice and sunny and spring has finally arrived!!
